My stay at Peek'N Peak Resort was a mix of fun and frustration. While I enjoyed the warm, welcoming feel of the hotel and the comfortable beds, the outdated rooms and some service issues left much to be desired. The lively atmosphere was enjoyable, but it often felt overwhelming and a bit chaotic, especially with crowd sizes and noise levels.

The condo I stayed in was quite outdated and felt a bit musty, but it was clean and in a great location near the Sugar Shack. I expected more for the almost $500 per night, particularly in terms of amenities like coffee and shampoo, which were not provided despite the price point. The unique decor was charming, though (definitely had an 80s vibe!).
Service
6.0
Though staff were generally friendly, I encountered conflicting information regarding cash payments and room service charges, which was quite frustrating. One staff member allowed cash payments, while another insisted I couldn't use cash at checkout. This inconsistency was annoying, especially when combined with long wait times.
Location
6.0
The location is fantastic for skiing and relaxation, with easy access to slopes. However, the resort itself felt a bit crowded and not as well-maintained as I expected, with some facilities requiring better upkeep. Overall, it had a nice rustic charm, reminiscent of a hidden treasure.
Dining
5.0
Dining options were somewhat limited and pricier than anticipated. For instance, ordering from the Bistro ended up being quite costly with added fees for room service. The food quality was decent but didn't live up to the resort's overall atmosphere. I would have loved a greater variety of options, especially local brews at events.
Facilities
6.0
I loved the main attraction, the pool, which was overall enjoyable. Unfortunately, I found the pool to be small, and it was overcrowded during my stay. I also noted a lack of proper staffing at times, contributing to a slower service experience. The outdoor hot tub was a big draw, but it was disappointing when we had to leave early due to crowd regulations.

My stay at Peek'N Peak Resort was good, though there were a couple of hiccups. The friendly customer service really stood out. it made my arrival and stay much more enjoyable. The kids loved the indoor playground and pool area, but I did notice the facilities could use a little upkeep in places. Overall, it was a fun getaway for the family.

The room was spacious and clean with comfortable beds. I appreciated the mini-fridge and microwave, though I wished for a larger fridge. Overall, it met our needs well.
Service

The check-in and dining staff were incredibly hospitable and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. It really added to the overall experience.
Location

While the resort is a bit secluded, it allowed us to enjoy some peace and quiet. However, I did feel the need for more nearby options beyond what the resort offered.
Dining

We enjoyed a meal at the Bistro, though I thought it was a bit on the pricey side. Still, the food was good, especially the pretzel appetizer that I highly recommend.

The indoor pool was cozy and entertaining for the kids, though I noticed it could become crowded quickly. The play area and sports court were great for keeping the little ones engaged.

My stay at Peek'N Peak Resort had its ups and downs. On one hand, the location was stunning, surrounded by nature, and the indoor and outdoor pools were enjoyable. On the other hand, the room was outdated and in need of serious upgrades, which affected my experience quite a bit.

Rooms
6.0
The room felt very dated, with old furniture that reminded me of the 1970s. There were cleanliness issues like stained carpets and musty smells (not what I'd expect for the price). A highlight was the kitchenette, which included a fridge and microwave.
Service
6.0
The staff were friendly and accommodating, although I encountered some inconsistencies with information regarding cash payments. It was frustrating having to clarify payment methods multiple times.
Location

The resort's location is beautiful, especially with all the outdoor activities available. I loved relaxing by the fire pit at night, which offered a charming atmosphere amidst nature.
Dining
7.0
The dining options were decent, with the bistro offering tasty food. However, I did find some prices a bit steep for what was served (a bit more like a country club buffet than a festive event).
Facilities

The pools were fabulous and a main highlight of my stay—great for families! However, during my visit, there were some limited hours that didn’t quite meet my expectations.

My stay at Peek'N Peak Resort was a mix of highs and lows. While I enjoyed the lively atmosphere and some of the amenities, the room left a lot to be desired, particularly in cleanliness and comfort. The service was friendly, but there were various inconsistencies that made my experience less than ideal.

Rooms
5.0
The room was spacious but had a musty smell and lacked proper cleanliness, including an unwelcoming substance on the floor. The bathroom was also small and in need of an update.
Service
5.0
The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, but there were noticeable errors in communication regarding fees and room service that caused frustration during my stay.
Location
6.0
The resort is beautifully situated in nature, making it a relaxing getaway; however, some areas were not well-kept, and noise from nearby activities was disruptive.
Dining
5.0
The food was decent, but certain meals felt overpriced for what was offered. Additionally, the service varied significantly depending on the day.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities were generally enjoyable, with a nice pool area and some fun activities like the zip line, but the indoor amenities seemed to be understaffed.

5.8/10

I had high hopes for my stay at Peek'N Peak Resort, but it fell short in numerous areas. The location is indeed beautiful, nestled in nature and perfect for relaxation, though the service and dining options were problematic. The rooms were outdated and lacked necessary amenities, which significantly impacted my overall experience.

Rooms
5.0
My room had issues with cleanliness and comfort. There were no tissues or extra toilet paper upon arrival, and it felt cramped with poor ventilation. I was disappointed that the promised amenities weren't available.
Service
5.0
The service left much to be desired. Staff seemed overwhelmed and untrained, and despite several requests, basic needs took hours to be met. This was especially frustrating during a busy weekend.
Location
8.0
I really loved the location; it's like a secret treasure in southwestern New York State. Being amongst nature added to the charm, and it was a great backdrop for outdoor activities.
Dining
5.0
Dining options were disappointing. The buffet felt more like a country club setting rather than a festive event, and we encountered delays and limited menus that didn't meet our expectations.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities, especially the pool and hot tub, were nice. However, the lack of attention paid to cleanliness in these areas was concerning, as it barely seemed maintained during open hours.
